Hi,

I have a big problem with Ps4 pro.
My storage data is damaged badly without any reason.
I tried everything in safe mod and I had to Initialize ps4 after 3 times, every time I play sounds not matching playgame extra long freezing and finally ps4 shut's down automatically and again the same problem storage check Initialize again like a loop.
What should I do?

Unfortunately, it sounds like your internal hard drive doesn't work anymore and you'll have to buy a new one. These things you're describing are exactly what I experienced when my hard drive gave out on my base PS4. So the only thing to do is to simply get a new one and replace the old one with it.

@LtSarge Thanks which hard drive should I buy?

@Nebel47 Well I think it'd be for the best to look up a guide and see which sounds like the best one for you. Here's one site I've found on Google, but there are plenty of other ones as well: https://www.ps4storage.com/best-ps4-internal-hdd-upgrades/

Personally, I decided to buy a Seagate Firecuda 1 TB 2,5" SSHD, which is a hybrid of an SSD and HDD. It's basically an HDD but with the benefits of an SSD, such as faster loading times (although I haven't personally noticed a huge difference since I started using it). Not to mention that it's cheaper than buying an SSD since those can be rather expensive even if they give you the best performance. So it's up to you whether you want to save some money or go for the best performance. I also decided to get 1 TB because the extra storage doesn't hurt since the base PS4 only had 500 GB, which is too little in my opinion.

Which drive to buy is very good question. I would start by asking myself the question of are you going to be getting a PS5? I’m assuming the answer is yes. In that case I would probably get something like a Crucial MX 500 500 GB SSD. Around $60. Or I would maybe try and get a 2.5 inch HDD off of eBay or craigslist and put that in if you could get it cheap enough. If you are planning on using your PS4 Pro for a year or two I will probably step up to a 1Tb drive.

Thats pain in the A when I buy it for my ps4 and I'll buy ps5 anyway later.Strangely that problem happens whitout any reason for me the same time after Update 9.03 🤔🤔
Or I have to buy a cheap one for now but I rather the standards which one is originally on ps4 pro and I rather not made in china if its possible?

Didn’t quite follow some of that but a SSD is a straight up upgrade on the PS4 Pro and HDD cost about the same. So in your case where you have to replace the hard drive an SSD really is the only option that makes sense.

And you might as well enjoy the much faster load times on games while you still have your PS4 Pro.

Another question is that will the problem solve if I change the hard drive? Or it could be another problem?
Not that I pay extra and It may not work anyway after changing it?
Can it be the Disc Drive maybe?
Normally it shows this errors :

CE-36329-3 or it says between gameplay cannot continue using the application : the data for the following application is corrupted delete the application and then insert the disc.Long time freezing sounds not mach video and finally not playble even after full intitize.

It ask's anyway by turning on after some times in safe mode for reistallation and update 9.03 with USB

You could try googling some steps to take and follow those? I’m sure you can make it work, probably is hard drive.

Is this hard disc good for ps4 pro?
Toshiba MQ01ABD100 1000GB (6,4 cm (2,5 inch), 5400rpm, 8MB Cache, SATA)

That would work for sure. Not sure what you’re paying for it though? As prices are very close to an SSD for the same amount of dollars.

I can't find better price here in my country for now.Toshiba MQ01ABD100 1000GB (6,4 cm (2,5 inch), 5400rpm, 8MB Cache, SATA) seems the best momentary and if it works like standard loading screens it's not that important. Its important for me that at least it works like standard.
Isn't 8 MB Cache too low for ps4 pro?or can later be problem?
Sorry I have no idea of hard discs and the last important question is that if I download my save games from ps plus can the save games corrupt the new hard disc too?
