So my original ps4 controller is near death the A button only works when it feels like it so looked into pro controllers found these
Razor raiju game pad pro controller
Namco revolution pro 2
Other than the Raiju being more money I am not sure which one is the best option has anyone got one of the most and can offer me advice on which is better
@Katep Both have their unique features and it really comes down to what you want. The Nacon Pro as the same layout as an XB1 controller which may well be enough of a reason for some (to either buy or avoid) but BOTH are wired only operation and cannot be used wirelessly. For me that was a major downside. Whilst it may offer the 'best' (least) lag and no interference for competitive gaming, I don't always want (or need) wires across the floor.
At the end of the day though, the best bet is to watch a youtube video on either/both and see what each offers and which will be better suited to you (if either is). It may be that one suits you better because of the games you play and how customisable and/or comfortable they are to you - something that may well be different to others. You may not like the Razer if you play fighting games with the D-Pad for example or the feel and thumbstick arrangement of the Nacon. Neither maybe suitable if you want a wireless controller though...

It all depends on what game your are planning to use them for. If you are into FPS, Fighting games or something more of a competitive nature then pro controllers are a nice addition. However if you are more into casual gaming then save your money and just buy a regular PS4 controller.

I would be using it more for fps till this gen I had a motion sickness issue but now that seems to have gone right now I am working my way through COD modern warfare remastered veteran mode
Did not know they both needed to wired to be used them as I saw that the charging cable can be disconnected from the pad
@Katep Do you plan on playing Modern Warfare or any other CoD game online against people?? Cause except for maybe some added comfort, like having the analog sticks the way Xbox has them for example a pro controller wouldn't be much use and you would be paying for features you don't need. But that's my opinion.

@Katep The 'charging' cable isn't a 'charging' cable and can be disconnected for packing away in a travel case to go to a eSport event. It is 'essential' it is connected otherwise the controller will not function at all. Its the same for either. If you want wireless with all the extra back buttons that can be configured how you want - even changed, Trigger stops too, the ;best; on the market for a PS4 is a scuff. You can even replace the thumbsticks if you wear them out easily, they can have grips as well as more customisable shell options too. If you want the 'better' lag (not that the lag is poor wirelessly), then you can also use these wired if you want and still use them wirelessly if you don't want to as well.
Neither of these controllers are particularly worth the extra over a PS4 standard controller - especially not the Razer which is a lot more. They are not as good as MS's Elite controller or as well built either but these are built for Playstation which the Elite isn't. You are just as likely to get the same usage out of these as a standard and whilst they 'may' help a bit in some 'gunfights', they certainly won't give you an edge and can take some getting used to - learning to press the back button to jump and still keep your thumb on the stick, learn to aim whilst in the air etc and for some, they find their K/D drops for weeks until they get used to it. Even then, you may win 1 extra gunfight in 100's (if not 1 in 1000's) because the TTK is so fast anyway that you will often be dead before you can jump turn and shoot them.
I am not trying to put you off at all but the 'pro's use these everyday and practice for hours and hours on end. They still dominate 'pubs' with standard controllers too of course. If you are looking at becoming a competition player, then go with Scuf - if not, then these are more 'novelty' and more limited too.

Thanks for the advice guys got to say the always connected part has cooled my interest in them as my ps4 is not close enough to my seat for that to work I am going to have a look a Scuf controllers and see if they will work
