My hard drive crashed and won't connect on my laptop. IS there any way to revive it? I sadly didn't get any coverage on it. Please advice!

@fyijj01 By crashed, I assume it’s dead. If it also won’t connect to your laptop then I’m afraid it’s gone, either you can shell out for a recovery service or get a new hard drive. If you use PS Plus you can get your saves back but it’s a real nightmare, I’m sorry to say.

@nessisonett where can I buy another hard disk? Do you think I can get a warranty on it?

@fyijj01 You can buy hard drives anywhere that sells computer accessories so places like Amazon will be fine. I don’t think they do warranties, as far as I know. To be honest, this is why SSDs will be good for PS5, HDDs fail on a regular basis.

@nessisonett got a hard drive but now my games don’t want to run. It keeps saying to delete and download again. Will I be required to pay for it hat game again

@fyijj01 Well it’s a new hard drive, which is where all your games are stored and so you’ll have to download everything again. You won’t have to pay again.
