Last night while playing, my PS4 just stopped working. The console crashed and now won't turn on. I'm currently more than peeved off atm.
I did manage to get it working for a few minutes, but a file in Minecraft was corrupted. I was able to go to a backup save, but then decided to delete th corrupted file. The backup save worked, but as soon as I went back to the Pencil to delete my other save, the same thing happened. It just crashed, and pressing the "Home" button didn't work. It kind of went to the PS4 home screen but froze. I would have deleted the corrupted file directly from the consol.
Now I can't even turn it on. I might have had a similar issue awhile ago? Can't remember (might have fixed itself).
Basically, what's happening is that the console will make a Clicking sound and will tell me the usb isn't connected and I should connect the USB (which it was, not that it really matters...).
I've had the console for a good few years (at least 3, give a few). Just as I was having so much fun with Minecraft.
Unfortunately, this means if the console is dead, I lose pretty much everything, including Witcher 3.
Does anybody have an idea what I can look into? Apparently PlayStation support isn't good. I just ended up going around in circles which really didn't help.
Well, if I end up needing a new one, I should get a jump drive and regularly backup all my files. I just can't tell you how miffed I am atm. Any insight on this would be appreciated.
