@SamuelNWiebe I never played it but I do hear how great this game was from some of the Youtubers I watch… so yeah, I’m always up for more good games.

**** DLC!

SamuelNWiebe

Does anyone know if there's a way to suggest games to playstation

@SamuelNWiebe yeah you just ask Remedy and they tweet a release date within 5 working days 😉, check the recent posts in the Trophy Thread 😎.

Is there actually a way to or are you kidding?

@SamuelNWiebe He’s kidding. I think he’s joking that we were discussing how we’d like an port of the Alan Wake game and then a few days later they announced it.
As far as I know there isn’t any official way to request a game be produced other than maybe tweeting at them or posting on the official blog. Both things I have never done before and have no clue about.

Ok. I just joined this so I have no idea. Thanks

Usually when I buy an old game a remaster gets announced a few days later, so I’ll head out and buy War in the North tomorrow!

Seriously though, I remember it being a great game, so. I’d like to see it make a return.

Ya I remember playing the whole game with my brother on ps3 and it was great. Like I like the shadow of murder games but they're so repetitive. They need to bring this game back

I remember being so incredibly excited about WiTN when it was announced. It looked amazing, and I absolutely loved the concept. I'm both a huge RPG guy and a huge LOTR guy, so it was right up my alley. However, the game itself left a lot to be desired. It seemed to clearly be left unfinished, with a lot of hints that the developers planned to add a lot more to it than they were able to.

I'll always remember the game for two main reasons:

1) The game allowed the player to level up the characters skill trees in a very free form way, which was great. However, near the end of the game, it required one of them to have one of several different abilities unlocked to continue past a certain point. While my part was very high level, I hadn't chosen to unlock those skills, and was forced to start the entire game over again from scratch.

2) The game included a plethora of elements that were then also used in the Hobbit film series, which was cool. The game and film studios must have worked very closely in some ways, because some characters and locations were exactly the same in both, even though the game came out a year before the first movie, and several years before the others. There were scenes in the movies where I just said "Hey, I know that place!" to myself as a watched, because it was in the game first. Very interesting to have that happen in the video game ahead of the film.
