@AdamantiumClaws She doesn’t feature in any of the other games. There’s quite a gap between GoW 3 and the new game which seems purposefully vague and means the new game can easily be played separate from the others.
@Thrillho Oh okay. Part of me thought that might be the case. Glad to know I didn’t miss anything. That was a smart move on the devs part, retaining old fans while gaining new ones.
Got a new Dualshock 4 off Amazon, official, sealed and all sorts. Got that fancy lightbar addition on the touchpad.
Doesn't come with a cable though. And unlike most modern controllers, it has no way to sync via Bluetooth, you need a cable to first connect it to your system, and obviously for charging because as we know the DS4 does a lot of that...
I am just...wow. Here's this new controller, good luck using it! XD

God, Surviving Mars is so infuriating as a well run, viable colony can turn to ruin so quickly. I think I’ve just hit a point of no return with my latest one and it’s so galling to have to give up on a colony you’ve spent days building up.
The new terraforming effects are really neat though but the extra tech line that it gives means research on everything else is slowed down.
A Plague Tale is pretty good. I'm loving it so far. Currently stuck at a section, it's getting quite hard, I'm not sure how to beat it, but I'll figure it out!
If you could turn any book into a ps4 game what would it be? Off the top of my head I'd like to play "The Kingkiller Chronicles" , although turning it into a video game format would probably make it more of a Walking Simulator type game. Id also like to see the Red Rising series turned into a video game. That game could be an action rpg I would think.
Gotta say, HDr kinda screws with my colour blindness, but it's neat. Trying out Ratchet and Clank now and er...whats going on with the subtitles? There are weird copies of it faintly flickering around where the subtitles are, there seems to be screen tearing and the frame rate is diving like a rock at points. Plus lots of ghosting :/

@RogerRoger Yeah its the remake. I know it wants to hit a constant 30fps but man, something aint right on Pro. it was fine on the PS4.
And yeah, the originals are fine. The HD Trilogy isn't but...thats a different matter.
The weird subtitle flickering is only when the subtitles overlap certain surfaces...and it happens to those surfaces as well. But only if the camera is moving....this is weird.
**Update** I caught the weird subtitle thing on video, clear as day.
@Tasuki haven't read that series, I'll have to check it out. I'll move this to the book thread, but it does pertain to ps4 games, so its kind of in the grey area.
@Elodin It's fine if you want to discuss books to be made int PS4 games but when it starts becoming a book thread like recommendations and such then maybe it should go to the book section. Still it is an interesting idea.

@RogerRoger Its weird right? Only on Pro too. I have no idea why. Like when the camera is in motion it loses track of the text. But only over certain textures in the game.
I always find the weird bugs let me tell ya!
