@rjejr i have not had a single issue what so ever

"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

@FullbringIchigo Thanks. I figured there probably weren't too many problems since there wasn't a new thread filled with people complaining about it, but I thought I'd ask just in case.

Hopefully I dont' have to stat one some day.

I put an SSD in my PS4 Pro and keep a 4TB external drive connected as well. I put my most played/recent games on the SSD and everything else is kept on the external. I think it works great. The SSD is super fast so anything I plan to play for a decent amount of time, I generally just move it over and it takes 5-10 minutes at most.

If there's a power cut or my PS4 isn't turned off properly, you occasionally get the "repair hard drive" message which takes a few seconds to check but I haven't had any problems with it. Don't know why it took them so long to add this feature but it's a really nice addition.

@roe Thanks. If I had an internal SSD that would make my decision a lot easier. I have the bog standard Slim 500GB drive and an old PC 750GB external. I think that will be enough, I don't game that much. I'm guessing around the 500GB point on the external I start deleting stuff anyway. The 500GB got small fast due to PS+ and a B2G1 sale at Target last week.

@rjejr Yes, I have been using a 2TB external HDD since the first week of support and it is wonderful. Not a single issue so far, knock on wood. I put most games I’m currently playing on the internal and any multiplayer games as well. The transfer process back and forth is easy to shuffle things around, but actually I don’t notice any issue even when I play from the external. I just use the internal for online MP games because my launch PS4 has just the two USB ports so I need to unplug the external drive to use my headset (which is not very often)
