Topic: Early GOTY contenders

Should never consider 'remasters' unless its more of a reboot like ratchet and clank but not CoD MW. Overwatch is dull as dishwater. Just finished Inside, very good game and I hated limbo too, no way GOTY though. I can't say anything has blown me away yet this year so I'd have to put forward games I haven't even played which is daft. Dark Souls III, Dishonored 2, FFXV, possibly The Last Guardian.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi: I could see that if it was a true remaster like say the Arkham Collection, but Modern Warfare Remastered added more to the game like new modes and camos and such.

If expansions to games that came out the past few years like Destiny and Witcher count then I don't see why Remasters shouldn't.

Destiny and Witcher DLC wouldn't count for me either, I would personally exclude remasters and mainly to keep some variation, perfectly understand if most would disagree.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi: However I can see stand alone expansions like Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon count for example since they are technically their own game and don't require the original game to play. But in the end that's up to @themcnoisy and how he wants to run things.
