Sakura Wars is a great dating sim/hack'n Slash game. I know there's still the action component to it, but it's minor compared to the narrative and character interaction. The violence is also in mechs and not graphic at all.
By non-violent does that include turn-based RPGs with more of a story focus, like say, Persona 5 which is more story focused than focused on the turn-based fighting. I'm not sure what you entirely mean.
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment has you solving murders (and you can get them wrong, so you need to think) instead of fighting bad guys, and was pretty good from what I played of it.
I also don't have interest in them, but I've heard good things about Farm simluator, Train Simulator, Bus Simulator, and Cities: Skyline I think it's called. I might have messed up some of the names a bit, but these games are well received by their audience niche as they may be.
Do you have VR? That could expand the recommendation list a bit.
@tangi_atori Cities Skylines, Videoball, The Witness and Mudrunner.

Thanks guys. Those are some really creative options, I looked at a bunch of them and they are so different then fps. Developers had to work at it. I was just looking for something more original then shooting something. Ill have to widdle down that list. Some of those options reminded me of Zelda type games.
Maybe I should have gotten a Switch.
@tangi_atori I think both the PS4 and Switch have options aplenty personally. It helps that both libraries are just bursting with variety in different genres and styles. I'd also personally recommend keeping an eye out for PS Store sales because they do specially themed ones every now and then like the Big in Japan sale that really showcase the variety the console's library has beyond shooters and the like.
Sweet thanks guys. Is Tropico 6 easier than city skylines? I was willing to compromise and checkout something like Horizon Zero Dawn as its violence to machines not humans.
I'm basically looking for something like Zelda. As someone pointed out those type of games are on the switch.
Tropico 6 is more of a strategic city builder that consists of levels that mostly focus on a game mechanic and see you needing to hit specific objectives to continue. For example, one is all about building up the tourist industry on your island. It can be tricky, especially with the economy occasionally tanking and being difficult to recover, but has good humour in it.
City: Skylines is more of a free range city builder that has no objectives other than making money to keep building and keeping your city running smoothly. New stuff is unlocked with population growth to keep it interesting. I enjoyed my short time with it but I don’t have the creativity to make amazing cities.
Jurassic World Evolution is another interesting game in the genre which has several islands for you to run and build up your park. It’s almost always on sale too. It definitely has its faults but I still had fun with it.
@tangi_atori Although, if it’s Zelda you’re after, someone on another forum I use says that Immortals Fenyx Rising plays in a similar way but I know nothing about the game whatsoever.
