@xX_RiscazZ_Xx: Good, Then I'll use Blood Bound, so we can get more damage on ultras.

With the Nightstalker, blood bound isn't as effective as Black Hole. The time it is most needed, (i.e the Warpriest, Golgoroth or the Daughters - its not effective on Oryx) there are rarely any ads in proximity and with the Warpriest in particular, you don't want to be killing ads in quantity - only 1 person kills ads and only 1 every few seconds or so. Its far better to use Black Hole for the extended duration and you only tether the boss anyway. At Golgoroth, I guess you could use Blood Bound but its really not necessary in general. Its better to have a Stormcaller at that point but again not 'vital'. Certain sections anyway may require you to modify your class build - like increasing agility, switching your 'jumps' etc. If/when we get to Oryx, the recommended light is 300 - this is the level of the enemies that will be attacking us! Its still possible at 290-295 but it is very difficult.

If we don't get it done or reach this point, the most important aspect is that we have FUN and enjoy the experience. At various points we could get 'loot' which may help raise our overall levels anyway but try to get to 295 at least if possible.

Hey guys I'm normally on around 8pm or so but never have anyone to do the raid with. Was with a group and got to the last part then everyone went to bed. If yall want I can start kings fall and take yall right to the end but needs to be before tues when it resets.

Ehh I'm at 293/294 with my highest level gear but the gear I'll be using will probably put me down to 292/293. Hope that'll still work.

Same here, my weapons are holding me back right now being in the 280-291 range. But that arc AK is a beast!!

Right lads, we have 8-9 people now on this and sadly a fireteam only takes 6.

Josh confirmed he wanted to run yesterday but I was chatting with him and yeah he was pretty much in all along, I don't think he's round the forums much.

I think we will have to go with whoever is on at the moment tonight.

I will be on from 6 running some strikes to waste some 3oC and see if I get a primary and heavy exotic engram at 310 to max my hung jury and sleeper and become beast. I comfortably sit at 300 whatever gear I choose, can max it at 304 at the moment.

@mrobinson91: Join me today mate, I'll be running the nightfall, yesterday I was in between car buying with the girlfriend, pizza and Destiny, I do realize at one point i just sat down on the daily story and you were left to deal with everything else hahaha

So if you're up to get the nightfall done today, let's do it! Light level drop if I get an exotic should have a high chance of 310 gear! But then comes the choice, if I get a Jade Rabbit, will I infuse it into the Hung or keep it like that?

Anyone else for the nightfall?

Oh, and I think its best if I skip the raid so I can have time to bring up my light level, and get a headset so I can hear what everyone else is saying.

As far as the raid is concerned, I ran my first vault of glass unprepared, and spent most of it dead, it wasn't that funny then, but we will be running more raids as the game goes, so if you're sure, there will always be another opportunity.

@xX_RiscazZ_Xx: Yeah, I'm sure, plus I'd like to do the easier raids like vault of glass and crotas end first. Also not being able to hear anyone will just make me seem like an uncooperative mess.

@ZeroXyko14: Cool then, I vote there should be a token run for VoG and CE at some point. I also miss doing Skolas.

@xX_RiscazZ_Xx: Isn't Skolas fought in the prison of elders? I haven't done that or the crucible, but I did get the exotic sword quest, so I'll need to do some crucible matches if I want that sword.

@ZeroXyko14: Yeah, and it was hard as hell back then, maybe with the increased Light levels it is much easier now.

Did it once for the "become legend" emblem really, got the cypher for Lord of Wolves, which is one weapon I'm really sad they didn't bring forward.

Thanks for the game tonight everyone, it was fun even if we didn't finish. If I'm not available over the weekend (I may have review duty that can't be ignored) then I'll let you know. If it comes to it, I'm perfectly happy with you guys finishing it without me - it's all good.

After an (eventually!!) successful Kings Fall Raid at the weekend, I wondered if anyone is interested in running VoG on hard during the week? We could spread it over a couple of nights (an hour each) as I think we could do it in a couple of hours but I don't know?
