I've noticed that leaving comments on articles from the website is a little annoying. There are usually numerous comments, spanning quite a length. You need to scroll past all of this in order to leave a comment. Why is there no quick reply feature at the bottom of the article, just above the comment chain? It's a little archaic. Unless I'm missing something, I think having some sort of reply feature before the comment chain would be a nice quality of life enhancement.
@Vertpin we'll be making some changes in this regard soon. However, the logic of having the reply at the bottom is that you actually read the other comments before posting, rather than just duplicating what someone else has said... but agreed when there are a lot of comments that doesn't really work. Same reason the reply on the forums is at the bottom too.
@Kidfried yeah, threaded is the big change — but also the most complicated/difficult to implement. But it's a priority for me so will be getting a big update soon.
@Mega-Gazz our CMS is in-house/bespoke so we'll need to built it from scratch, so to speak, especially as we wouldn't want to lose any existing comments.
@antdickens Can I also bug you about the CSS on mobile at the same time? The blue background doesn’t appear underneath the menu when you tap the hamburger, so you end up with white text on white.
@Mega-Gazz works here, can you reproduce it every time? can you email me a screenshot of it in action anthony (at) pushsquare.com so I have the exact dimensions. thanks!
