Hello all. Not sure if the problems are related, but occasionally I fire up my PS4.
Problem one is that it no longer connects to wifi. I lack the technical expertise to resolve this and I suspect its modem has crapped out based on what I've fiddled with settings-wise so far. I would like to try to fix it - next thing to test is plugging it directly to our modem via ethernet cable (I just need to get another cable).
The other issue is that some games will just randomly close while playing and I'm knocked back to the xmb. I've noticed it's the worst with Skyrim. I might not get 5mins of play time before it happens. Again, not sure what's causing this.
I hope these issues aren't indicative of a dying console!
