Topic: PS4 will not show as online

Hi everyone, new to the forum here. I have a PS4 Pro and just found out with online friends my machine shows as offline. I have tried every method I can find on the web to correct it, signing out, deactivated the console, tried signing in on my PC, nothing has worked. Has online else been affected and know how to resolve this?

Try the ''appear online'' option then.

Meant to include that in the original post, obviously I have tried that but no difference.

Have you checked your privacy settings?

What would I check for in there? Maybe I'm overlooking something. I know a while back Sony released an update and some people were affected the same way, I was assuming it was an update issue, but maybe it's just in settings
