Topic: PS4 Update SU Errors & similar errors

So i tried to update the ps4 this week & got multiple SU errors on every attempt
Tried the Safe mode - disc mode ,all modes= no joy
So i went online & sure enough several dozen people getting the same & being told
REPLACE YOUR HARD DRIVE ,not sure on that tbh .

The issue i can see is the REBOOT AFTER FILE HAS DOWNLOADED & attempts to install
When the system reboots ( regardless of whether auto software downloads are switched on
or off ) IT STILL TRIES TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE FILE ONLINE
DISCONNECT THE INTERNET YOU SAY ?
Safe mode update via USB results in same error cos there seems to always be a partial download file either in progress or stored in the system . even after deleting it several times it returns & then when offline you have no option to delete any partial or full file .. the delete button & the cancel & delete option are not there only update sys software .( delete in extra menu is often greyed out)

PS4PUP is generally regarded as the file name
file folders are named ( for USB install )
(PS4) All caps
(UPDATE) All caps
if when downloading this on a browser ( not google chrome as it blocks it on the latest version ?!?! )
If you download it AGAIN what happens ?
it renames file 2 with an extension (1)
example
CCleaner
CCleaner(1)
as you cant have 2 file names the same = right ?
Im pretty sure this is whats happening with this reboot after the PS4PUP on your USB stick conflicts with a secondary file which for all arguments is possibly renamed PS4PUP(1) an INVALID FILE NAME

Has anyone had this issue this week ?
Anyone found a fix?
PS4 was fine & it great working order UNTIL the update this week .
Mines been serviced its a ps4 slim standard 500 gig job
sorry for waffling on but if anyone has any fixes or work arounds
