Hi everyone.
I am in a predicament at the moment I think my ps4 is slowly dying as it takes ages to load up. I have just upgraded my tv to a 4k and I would love to buy a ps4 pro but is it worth getting a ps4 pro a ps5 is out of the question at the moment. I would like to buy a new ps4 pro and not a refurbished one as you don't know how long it will last. But does anyone know if I can buy a ps4 pro brand new or would I have to settle for a refurbished console from a good supplier. I have been told not to use music Magpie or the back market for a refurbished model as you don't get what you pay for, any help on this would be much appreciated thanks

A refurbished Pro at music magpie is £360. Personally it seems like a no-brainer to save up another £90 and get a ps5 and save a lot of money in the long run and future proof yourself for another 6+ years

I'd definitely save the extra and go for a PS5 as well. I managed to one quite easily from Argos just the other day and there are other stores plus Sony direct that you will probably be able to source one from. You could always trade your PS4 into CeX or Music Magpie after you've secured a PS5.

ps4 pro isn’t worth it & neither is the ps5 atm but , between the two , i think you should really save money for a ps5 instead . the pro is just like the ps5 , but worse ; i traded my pro in when i got the ps5 and , the pro was a laggy piece of *****.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I will take the information you have given and start saving up for a ps5 which should take me about a month to get it. Thanks again for all your help
