Do you mean the light on the outside of the console, or the picture on your display?

The screen colour , it’s mainly yellow

I never heard of that particular problem before. Since you’re within warranty I would take it back to the shop you bought it from and get it repaired or replaced.

Remember to back up any save data and deactivated as your primary console before you do so.

Last resort is use contact cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Get an HDMI cable wet and plug it in repeatedly when the PS4 is off.

@TowaHerschel7 I said it is a last resort if he wants to do it himself. Contact cleaner is made to clean out ports, and rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly. I've done it before multiple times, and sometimes the port was just dirty. Other times it was broken and the trick did nothing. Using contact cleaner does not void any warranty I have heard of and I'm not sure where you heard that from.

@TowaHerschel7 Cleaning does not void the warranty now taking apart the console and replacing parts does but cleaning doesn't.

@Vinyldreams If a return is hard, I would recommend buying contact cleaner. Spray the HDMI cable with contact cleaner and plug it in the PS4 repeatedly while the PS4 is off. This does not violate any warranty I know of. Rubbing alcohol also evaporates quickly but it won't be as effective at cleaning the port. Sometimes this issue is dirt/dust coating a pin in the PS4 HDMI port, other times the port is broken. It's saved me a couple times with PC GPUs, but one time it was a port issue. Definitely worth a try.
