I would like to know if Playstation 5 with physical games can be are played without ever having an internet connection?

I ask because the Xbox Series X need an internet connection for the first launch of many physicals games, and I need a console that can be totally offline for downloading games.

@Tasuki I want a console with no disc drive but can still play discs.
