Topic: Kingdom hearts Re Chain level 99

I am having trouble with the second Vexen battle in Twilight Town even at level 70. I must be really bad at this game but really want to finish it. Has anyone reached level 99? How are the boss battles with level 99? Is it still a pain if you have a deck of bad cards? I am seriously considering just leveling to 99 before proceeding further but wanted to know if leveling to the max would greatly help. It seems like leveling up doesn’t make as big of a difference as in other RPG games including other Kingdom Hearts.

Levelling doesn’t really help much since being level 70 means you should have most useful sleights and enough help. The only thing I can really say is either spam Sonic Blade or just get a really good setup going with your sleights. Either way, rely on sleights!

Thanks for the tip. I need to also gather some decent cards. Seem to have a shortage of 7 and higher ones. Did you finish the game?

@Don I’m ashamed to say that it’s the only Kingdom Hearts game I’ve never completed. If you think Vexen’s difficult... just wait and see what’s left to come 😅
