Topic: Help with Purchasing Game in PSN Store

I added 40 dollars to my PSN account through codes I bought off of amazon. I was going to purchase a new game and it started asking me for a payment method. Problem is my credit card is not from the same country my account is linked to (my account is really old and you are unable to change the country) and my paypal is not being accepted because of a wrong email or password (which they aren't wrong because I entered paypal in my phone and computer with the same details I entered in Playstation). I have 40 dollars sitting in my psn account doing nothing, does anybody know how i can solve this?

@edudusan Does the 40 dollars show as a balance in your wallet on the store?

@JohnnyShoulder yes it does, i was thinking maybe it is asking for a payment method because the game might be more expensive than 40 dollars. I entered psn through the computer and tried to purchase the game through there and there were taxes added to it that made the game 42 dollars. While entering PSN through the PS4 and trying to buy the game the tax doesnt appear but maybe there is one and thats why it asks for my info. What do you think?

@edudusan Oh right as I'm from the UK tax (or VAT as it is called in the UK), is always included in the prices you see on the PS store, both on the web site and PS4. Hopefully someone from your area can help you out.
