Hey guys so my nephew has a ps4 that was not updating due to the cd drive not working (SU-42118-6) I opened it up and tried all the ribbons and roller inside the disk drive to no avail.
Now he has a new ps4 I was wondering if I could put the old hdd from the non working ps4 to the new one with a working cd drive and try and update it that way, would it work like that? Thanks.
