Hello have question how to disable blueray player so i can update ps5 i open the ps5 to repair hdmi port but lost cd player ribbon wire but now I cant update it give me error for cd player cannot update even tried it from usb stick in safemode still download fail any one to disable the blueray player I dont even use cd games.

You'll have to get another ribbon wire.
