Topic: 2-step verification

i have not linked my phone number with my PS4 plus account and neither have i kept a record of the temporary code, however when i login now it asks for 2-step verification although my login id and password are correct. how can i login now ?

@shakkhattak Try following the below article and see if that helps.

You need to enter a mobile phone number when you first set up 2 step verification. Without one it would not allow you to set it up in the first place.

i activated my PS plus in another country and i dont have access to that phone number now. i dont remember activating my 2-step verification there should be a way to by pass this by using online ID and password?

@shakkhattak if you take a look at the guide that was in my previous post, it should explain how to deactivate it. But you need to be signed in first. You could try contacting Sony.
