Fallout 4 PS5

$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)

Although Bethesda's game engine is showing its age in Fallout 4, the game remains an engaging post-apocalyptic RPG. Featuring addictive progression systems, a decent story, and an immersive open world, it's easy to forgive some of the game's rougher edges and lose yourself in the nuclear wasteland. The PS5 version improves performance and load times, making it the best version you can play right now.

Final Fantasy XVI PS5

$19.99/£19.99 (-60%)

The Final Fantasy series has never been one to sit still, and with Final Fantasy 16, it's moved away from its turn-based traditions entirely. The first true action RPG in the mainline games, it's quite the departure from the norm, but it's an excellent entry nonetheless. Featuring a gripping story delivered by brilliant performances, incredibly fun combat, and some of the most spectacular scenes imaginable, this is a fantastic game that pulls out all the stops.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster PS4

$9.99/£9.99 (-60%)

If you're itching for an angsty JRPG that's very much a product of its time, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster is the game for you. Square Enix did a great job of updating this saga for both modern and nostalgic audiences. Even though parts of it have definitely aged, Final Fantasy X remains a landmark release, telling a love story that's full of weird twists, spread across an intriguing and unique fantasy world. X-2, on the other hand, borders on fan fiction. A direct sequel to X that's campy beyond measure — but it's still a fun time thanks to well worked gameplay mechanics.

God of War III Remastered PS4

$9.99/£7.99 (-50%)

God of War III Remastered may have been one of the last hurrahs for the series’ old-school, fixed perspective style – but it’s still an absolute doozy. Presented pristinely on PS4, this trilogy closer has some of the most epic moments you’ll find on any console, including an opening boss fight against Poseidon that remains utterly jaw-dropping even today.

God of War: Sons of Sparta PS5

$19.79/£16.49 (-34%)

A God of War game unlike any other, Sons of Sparta turns back time to Kratos' youth for a side-scrolling Metroidvania action adventure. It follows the future god and his brother Deimos as they go against their Spartan duties in order to search for a fellow soldier who's gone missing. There are some rough edges here and there, and it's a bit of a slow burn, but stick with it and there's a lot to like here, including challenging combat, lots of fun upgrades, and a large, intricate map full of secrets.

Gotham Knights PS5

$6.99/£6.49 (-90%)

A spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, Gotham Knights does its best to transition the world of the Caped Crusader to a Destiny-style co-op experience. The results are a little mixed, and subsequently it fails to match up to the high points of Rocksteady’s iconic series. However, there’s a nice story and enjoyable combat system on offer, which at least offers some short-lived entertainment.

Hell Is Us PS5

$11.99/£9.99 (-80%)

With an incredibly dense lore and labyrinthine level design, Hell Is Us is a captivating experience. The game takes its solid (but tough) combat and chin-scratching puzzles and elevates them with a century spanning mystery that goes deeper and deeper. Its hands off approach means there is a huge emphasis on the world, and thankfully Rogue Factor does not disappoint. It’s not going to be for everyone, but for those that love a good lore-filled mystery, this is a PS5 must-play.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure PS5

$21.99/£19.24 (-45%)

In a nutshell, Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a Sanrio spin on Animal Crossing, and it works rather well. It combines cosy life sim elements with more free-form exploration and puzzle solving across a large map. While there are some frustrations related to pacing, befriending each adorable creature and gradually improving the island still satisfies.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PS5

$41.99/£41.99 (-40%)

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is just good old fashioned fun. Its simplistic gameplay lets it down a little, but with vibrant environments brought to life with stunning detail, excellent writing and performances across the board, and a fun globe-trotting Indy adventure that nails the tone and feel of the film series, we had a blast from start to finish. If you’ve been holding off from playing The Great Circle, then now is the time. The PS5 takes an already brilliant adventure and makes it even better.

Knights and Bikes PS4

$7.99/£6.79 (-60%)

Knights and Bikes is an adorable action adventure about two best friend kids exploring their island home. Playable solo or in local co-op, this title is all about Nessa and Demelza's appetite for adventure and trouble, with the presentation effectively showcasing their wild imaginations and freewheeling sense of fun.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight PS5

$48.99/£41.99 (-30%)

A referential and joyful deep dive into the world of Batman, the latest LEGO effort from TT Games is elite brick gaming. Legacy of the Dark Knight just wants to be an enjoyable time, and it refuses to falter from that commitment. This new LEGO Batman will be some of the best fun you have all year.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth PS5

$17.49/£14.99 (-75%)

With the best turn-based gameplay, the biggest and best cast of characters, and the most gripping story in the series so far, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is comfortably the greatest Yakuza game to date. Ichican and Kiryu hit up the new destination of Hawaii in search of the former's long-lost mother, but their quest really is just the tip of the iceberg. Improved combat makes fights more engaging than ever, upgraded graphics bring new life to classic locations like Kamurocho, and deep and fascinating characters both new and old mean you won't want to stop playing until the credits roll. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth really is RGG Studio at its peak.

Mafia: The Old Country PS5

$29.99/£26.99 (-40%)

Mafia: The Old Country takes the series back to its roots as a more straightforward action adventure, and it also winds back the clock to the early days of organised crime. Set in 1900s Sicily, you play as Enzo Favara, who becomes involved in the Torrisi crime family. While the game is open world to an extent, it's mostly there to provide a compelling period backdrop to the dramatic story at its core. It has its flaws, but there's a lot to like about this one.

Marathon PS5

$23.99/£20.99 (-40%)

Marathon is a game that gives more to you the more you give to it. With impeccable Bungie gunplay, a gorgeous world and artstyle, and a gameplay loop much denser than its competition, we think Marathon is something special. The more we play, the more we love it.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy PS5

$8.99/£8.24 (-85%)

A superhero game from Square Enix is enough for hardcore PlayStation players to proceed with caution after Marvel's Avengers, but developer Eidos Montreal has done Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy proud with a faithful, funny, and thoroughly enjoyable campaign based on original storytelling. It's a meaty one too, lasting north of 20 hours. The characters of Drax, Groot, Rocket, and Gamora are just as you remember them from the Marvel movies, and even Star-Lord performs valiantly despite the lack of a Chris Pratt face scan. Combat is deep and engaging, exploration is limited but fun, and dialogue is top-notch.

Metaphor: ReFantazio PS5

$27.99/£23.99 (-60%)

The team behind the Persona series presents its take on a fantasy RPG with Metaphor: ReFantazio. Structured very similarly to its stablemates, this game has you exploring a realm filled with monsters, monarchy, and magic, and is just as stylish too, with gorgeous presentation throughout. Presenting players with one of the best RPG stories in recent memory, engaging combat, and rewarding gameplay systems, this is yet another banger from Atlus.
