Dragon Quest VII Reimagined PS5
$38.99/£38.99 (-35%)
Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined is a very high quality remake and a potent reminder of just how endlessly charming the longstanding series can be. While the story does still drag its feet at times, sweeping gameplay improvements and some welcome streamlining make Reimagined a must for anyone with a hankering for old school JRPGs.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age PS4
$19.99/£17.49 (-50%)
The definitive version of an already outstanding Japanese RPG, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a gigantic and endlessly charming adventure. It retains the series' classic JRPG roots — turn based combat included — but a heavier emphasis on storytelling through a fantastic cast of characters elevates the experience significantly. One of the greatest Dragon Quest games yet — and that's saying a lot.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles PS5
$29.99/£29.99 (-40%)
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is so close to being the definitive way to play what remains a masterful tactical RPG to this day. Square Enix's unfortunate decision to axe content introduced in The War of the Lions stings, but if you can get past that, the raft of quality-of-life improvements, additions, and upgrades make it a fantastic way to revisit, or experience for the first time, one of the most influential video games ever made.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PS5
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake, as Cloud and the gang embark on their post-Midgar adventure. Featuring open world areas, there's a much greater emphasis on exploration, and while the core story of Final Fantasy 7 does take a backseat for a lot of the game, there's an enjoyable focus on character interactions. What's more, Rebirth is utterly stuffed with things to see and do. Side quests, minigames, treasure hunts — it's a massive release, and although we'd argue that it feels a bit bloated at times, there's no questioning the amount of effort Square Enix poured into this second part of the trilogy.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age PS4
$14.99/£11.99 (-70%)
Final Fantasy XII was and still is a divisive game, but despite its PS2 origins, we would argue that it's aged extremely well. XII opts for a more serious story involving political puppeteering and a hefty dose of wartime drama, but it's the sense of adventure that makes the game so endearing. Excellently crafted environments are a joy to explore, and a brilliantly worked job system lets you tweak your party however you like. However, its Gambit system isn't for everyone, as it essentially lets you program your characters so that you don't have to lift a finger during combat. This allows for some impressive technical depth, but, you know, a lot of Final Fantasy fans like pushing buttons every now and then.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective PS4
$9.89/£8.24 (-67%)
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective comes from the mind behind the Ace Attorney series, and while there's definitely some through-lines, this unique adventure really stands out. You play as a character who's just died, and must learn the truth behind his own murder — in doing so uncovering a wider conspiracy. Using your ghostly abilities to possess objects and rewind time, this is a wonderfully wacky puzzle adventure with a great story at its core.
GRIS PS5
$4.24/£1.94 (-75%/-85%)
GRIS is a strikingly beautiful game, and nothing else before or since looks quite like it. This painterly adventure always looks amazing, and while the gameplay is relatively shallow, it's a fun platforming journey. Filled with evocative imagery, simple puzzles, and gorgeous music, this is well worth experiencing.
Hi-Fi Rush PS5
$13.49/£12.60 (-55%)
Hi-Fi Rush is a gorgeous rhythm-action game with a strong cast of characters, addictive gameplay, and an incredible musical score. The game has a ton of replayability with the way it's structured, allowing you to improve your timings to perform better in the game’s rhythmic combat. One of the most unique and stylish major games this generation, this is a real breath of fresh air.
Horizon Forbidden West PS5
$14.99/£22.49 (-70%/-55%)
The sequel to Guerrilla Games' breakout hit, Horizon Zero Dawn, is bigger and better than its immediate predecessor in every single way. Horizon Forbidden West may retread familiar territory with its open world RPG adventure, but it improves upon the writing, introducing a worthwhile cast of characters for heroine Aloy to bounce off. New combat and exploration wrinkles, including a grappling hook, intensify the action, while the eponymous Forbidden West is a diverse sandbox, bursting with varied biomes and secrets to discover.
inFAMOUS: Second Son PS4
$4.99/£4.63 (-75%/-71%)
Sucker Punch continues its popular superhero series with a brand new protagonist in inFAMOUS: Second Son. Taking the open world action to Seattle, you play as Delsin Rowe, a conduit with the amazing ability to absorb the powers of other superhumans. This gives you many more toys to play with as you progress, gaining unusual abilities based on smoke, neon, digital, and more. Exploring the city feels great, combat is fun and varied, and it looks fantastic — a great early showpiece for PS4.
Inscryption PS5
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
A game quite unlike any other, Inscryption combines cards with horror and mystery in some truly unexpected ways. What starts off as a perfectly good roguelike turn-based card game quickly starts to go off the rails as you learn more and more about the world's lore, leading to some brilliant twists and turns in the story. To say much more would spoil the experience.
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes PS4
$2.99/£2.39 (-80%)
Among the original PSVR's best titles, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a great party game that's unlike anything else. The VR player has a complex bomb in front of them, and the other players can't see it — but they can see a manual on how to disable every module on the bomb. It's a brilliant test of collaboration and communication to defuse each bomb before it goes off with practically endless puzzles.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess PS5
$29.99/£24.74 (-25%)
One of Capcom's more left-field games in recent memory, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a compelling combination of strategy and action. Playing as the guardian of a maiden with the power to clear a sinister corruption, you must tactically place villagers of various types around each stage in order to help ward off enemies that spawn at nightfall, when the game becomes a hack-and-slash. While it can be tough at times, there's real invention and charm to this unique title.

Rebirth is not £3.99, if it was I'd buy it!
@BonezKnowz come to say the same thing. It's 14.99
@BonezKnowz
However Robocop: Rogue City - Alex Murphy Edition IS £3.99!!!
It should have really been priced at 'A Dollar' though to encourage people to buy it.
Demon Souls Digital Deluxe like $7 cheaper than the base game's sale was recently. Got that, Tomb Raider trilogy, Shadow of the Colossus, & Detroit Become Human Digital Deluxe, partially because it came with Heavy Rain.
@BonezKnowz ngl they got me excited
The issue Push Square now has with these deals articles is that thanks to Playstation's scummy pricing practices, not all prices listed are available to all users.
For example, Bloodborne is £7.99 for me, not £3.99.
And Shadow of the colossus is £14.99 for me, not £3.59!
I'm also subscribed to PS Premium and was logged in to check prices.
There are possibly more examples too, those are just the first ones I noticed.
Cult of the Lamb for $10 is an absolute steal! I hadn’t binged a game that hard since I was in high school.
@Futureshark Unfortunately I already Platinumed this one, and funnily enough in relation to sales, it was added to PS Plus a few weeks after I purchased it. I was tempted to get Unfinished Business at £9.99 recently, but then I remembered what happened last time. If that one was £3.99 I'd snap it up, but it'll hopefully get put on Plus in due course
earlier tonight from the new Halloween sale, i bought Bloodborn game for my playstation 4.
still waiting for the game to fully install. still have like an hour or less for it to get done with installing.
i hope the game is somewhat better and not super tough like the old Demons Souls and Dark Souls II games that i used to have for my Playstation 3 a few years ago
@seinfeldfanatic
It's a banger, but I'm afraid it's not a easy banger.
Just consider the starting area as a tutorial (as effectively that's what it is) and enjoy one of the genuine PS4 masterpieces.
Such a shame no ps5 patch at least.
time to make those sales before GTA6 i guess
@Futureshark
I'd buy that for a dollar
I loved Inscryption up until "part 1" ended
Now that Painkiller is only 4,99€ I can finally see for myself how bad everybody says it is ^^
