How Do You Win as Jake in MultiVersus?

Jake is a Bruiser class character, which means he's best equipped for close combat. By default, Jake's reach is fairly limited, but many of his attacks allow him to extend is hit range, making him surprisingly versatile. He doesn't have a proper Projectile attack, but other than that he's a great all-rounder.

Something to keep in mind are his attacks that can break Armor. If an opponent has Armor in effect, Jake has several moves that can break it, like his neutral and down attacks. His side attack is also very useful for sweeping the main area of a stage, as it moves quickly, deals decent damage, and gets you back in the action.

It's also worth mentioning his neutral special, with which he eats another fighter if at very close range. It's a great move to use on an opponent with high damage already, as you can spit them out at high velocity. However, it's useful in any case, as an enemy will come out with the Weakened state, which means they'll be more vulnerable to damage and knockback.
