Previously only glimpsed, we've gotten our first official look at the new Geralt of Rivia, Liam Hemsworth, who has taken up the mantle of the White Wolf from Henry Cavill in season four of Netflix's The Witcher adaptation. In the short teaser, we see Hemsworth looking particularly brooding in the snow-covered woods, along with his trusty steed, Roach.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (thanks, Eurogamer), showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich revealed that the actor's look has been developing for over a year and that the entire cast and crew have had a blast filming the show's upcoming season. Hissrrich said: "Cast and crew alike have been struck by the passion, energy, and embodiment Liam has brought to the character from day one — scruffy beard, iconic scar, and all! We're having so much fun filming season four and are excited to welcome fans along on this journey with us."

Freya Allen, who portrays Ciri in the series, recently appealed to fans to give Hemsworth a chance. Stepping into a role like that of Geralt of Rivia, which Cavill indeed inhabited, can't be easy, and we don't envy him that task. As Allen herself said: "That fan base can be very attack-y."
