Oops! The most recent patch for Helldivers 2, namely version 1.000.103, has inadvertently brought in a new issue, causing frequent crashes for many players. If you have the latest patch for the game installed, you may have experienced this yourself, with the shooter suddenly quite unstable. While this is obviously isn't great, the good news is that developer Arrowhead is fully aware of the situation and working to fix it.
Over on the game's official Discord server, community manager Twinbeard assured fans that the team is "deep down in the trenches digging into the issue as we speak". Given the rate at which patches for Helldivers 2 have been coming out, we imagine this will be resolved very swiftly. "We are on alert ready to update on any changes here. We're very sorry @everyone for not being able to supply you with the glorious feeling of bug and bot stomping and hope to have the game more stable as soon as possible," Twinbeard said.

@MomsSpaghetti Having the same issues as well. Keep getting in-game tips as if I’m playing Helldivers 2 for the first time. Also, having my armory reset every time I log in is a bit annoying.
Every update they break something else starting to get sick of having my loadout reset every time i boot the game up and getting the annoying tutorial messages popping up.
Happy to hear I am not the only one with the armory reset. Sometimes I would only figure out after my pod landed and a female voice (voice resets to random) is calling for my support weapons. This resetting is definitely an annoying bug.
Yep, same. Have to remember to reset my weapons every time I load the game. The tutorial tips are probably even more annoying though!
I played an operation campaign last night and had squadmates dropping out from time to time.
It's got some other issues as well every time you start the game your character voice, 2nd weapon and grenade always resets. And the kicking issue is getting out of hand as well especially when they shot you inside the extraction ship, think they need to add a voting system and a profile like Microsoft used to in the 360 days

I’m also having the issue with weapons and voice resetting to default every boot. Seems to be everyone.
I’ve also noticed that the gun settings (aim zoom, fire rate, flashlight) reset when you respawn. That’s a little annoying. (Also bad that they don’t teach that feature in the tutorial.)
Also been having a lot of instances of clipping through the environment. Maybe hard to avoid with procedural generation, but still an issue. And a bit of a nitpick, but it also kinda bothers me that your character’s feet clip through the floor every time you get back from a mission.
And — unrelated to glitches and bugs — I just found out yesterday that there is a limit to how many Medals you can save up. It caps at 250. I was saving them up for when I got enough Super Credits to get the new Warbond, and didn’t realize I wasn’t getting any more. Lost out on a bunch of Medals because of this, because I didn’t notice for a day or two. Something else that you should be told about in the tutorial (or at least communicated in some way).
Yeah I've been having a few issues before this patch. Weapon load outs resetting. Voice playing a random one every game and it kept crashing on me..well actually it just kept getting stuck on the pod dropping screen. Hope they sort this out soon.
Same! However I am enjoying the tip "Encounter is Approaching, use your stratagem's." I didn't even know this was a thing and has saved me a more than a couple times, especially since i'm equipped with the default weapon :-/
It would be nice if they would fix the social bug so I can actually play with my friends
@MomsSpaghetti same! This is a known issue as stated in recent patch notes. But with the latest crushing issue I don’t hope it will be fixed soon
It seems to be somehow related the arc weapons(Arc thrower, arc blitzer and tesla). Could be related to that counter(just guessing) but if your reading this post, just make sure no one in your game is using those weapons until then.
The weapons resetting once you quit the game is annoying too but at least that's not crashing the game. But that has been an issue for too long at this point and should have been fixed by now.
Arrowhead’s fast fixes (and updates in general) on the fly, with the appearance of quite obvious bugs with new patches, is often representative of a software company not having a rigid QA system in place complete with automated testing to see if any new code breaks old code. So yes can get something new out quick - but at the risk of terminids infiltrating the system! They should probably slow down a bit and get some rigorous testing in place!

Have noticed latest patch in particular is causing a lot of turbulence however.
The last time I opened Helldivers 2 it crashed within less than a second. I was honestly impressed because I've never seen a faster crash. I felt like I accidentally just decimated a speed run
