Baldur's Gate 3 Deluxe Edition

Scalpers can be a menace when it comes to limited goods, and so there's been a slight worry that the long-awaited physical release of Baldur's Gate 3 will fall victim to resellers. The Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order now, with shipping expected to take place in early 2024. However, Larian Studios' director of publishing Michael Douse says that stock should hold strong, despite what is presumably high demand.

"The Deluxe Edition is *not* a limited edition and stock is holding steady, with more waves being prepared within the Q1 2024 shipping window," Douse writes on Twitter. "If you see [the Deluxe Edition] online being resold based on confirmed pre-orders at higher prices, skip it. There won’t be stock scarcity."

So there you have it, Larian's telling everyone to say no to scalpers. It sounds like the developer's got everything well under control, so here's hoping it stays that way!
