Baldur's Gate 3 Game of the Year

This year's Golden Joystick Awards are over, and Baldur's Gate 3 has walked away the big winner. The superb RPG snagged the all-encompassing 'Ultimate Game of the Year', beating out the likes of Alan Wake 2, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy 16, and many more. Larian's universally acclaimed title also scooped the win in six other categories. One game grabbing seven awards is a new record, apparently.

From a PlayStation perspective, other notable winners include Resident Evil 4 (PlayStation Game of the Year), Horizon Call of the Mountain (Best VR Game), Final Fantasy 16 (Best Audio and Best Lead Performer), Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (Best Expansion and Best Trailer), No Man's Sky (Still Playing Award), and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (Most Wanted Game). What's more, PSVR2 won 'Best Gaming Hardware'.
