Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Reveals Incoming PS5, PS4 Beta, Begins This Weekend

Ahead of a full reveal scheduled for later in the week, publisher Activision is drumming up hype for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. As part of this, we got the briefest of peeks at the eagerly anticipated new map for Warzone 3, Activision's anticipated battle royale offering.

Brief glimpses of what each pillar of modern Call of Duty entails can be seen below, with full reveals promised for the Call of Duty Next event. The Next livestream is scheduled for 5th October, at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm BST.

The first of two multiplayer beta weekends begin on Friday, 6th October, exclusively on PlayStation platforms. If you can't wait to get to grips with this latest offering, then you'd better carve out some uninterrupted alone time on the weekend.

I might give this a miss. I love call of duty especially the multiplayer but i'm just burnt out on fps's at the mo. I'm all about the single player driven games presently and i'm definatly going to get more for my money from lords of the fallen than call of duty. Call of duty is my usual go to game for those long winter evenings but if i can clear my backlog target in time for xmas i'll pick up baldurs gate 3 to see me through the winter.

Isn't this the full price DLC for Modern Warfare II? I can't wait for all of the completely disingenuous 8 out of 10 scores.

I will jump into the beta over the weekend. Can’t expect much has changed in terms of actual gameplay but the nostalgia from the MW2 maps will be good.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I didn't with the lack of features and QoL updates.

There wasn't meant to be doing one this year, however Modern Warfare II isn't doing the greatest with players because IW isn't listening, meanwhile SHG do listen (a little)

I do agree though, a annual release isn't needed at all

Do we know anything about about wz3? I thought 2 was seen as a bad follow up to 1 so the only way is now up?

Yet again, another POS FPS, that you already owned in 1, 2, whatever the "F" number you bought...

This junk needs to stop, and decent games need to be made.

Every FPS ever, is a rip off, rinse repeat of itself, or another game....

Quit feeding us trash games Activision.

They should put maps from original COD 4: Modern Warfare on too.
