AK-xolotl is a top-down roguelike shooter in which you play as an adorable amphibian armed with an AK47, and it's hatching on PS5 and PS4 in 2023.
Top marks for this trailer, which is funny, absolutely nails the game's vibe, and even features a pretty darn good David Attenborough impersonation. Fans of Enter the Gungeon are going to want to keep an eye on this one, as it looks to share a similarly sadistic sense of bullet-hell bastardry with that game. You can even rear and arm baby axolotls, whats not to love?

Looks fun. I am a fan of roguelikes. I tend to lean more to the better graphical ones though. If this gets a trial I'll see if it pulls me in.
The dodge and standing animations, the movement of the enemies, even how you know your weapon is loading. This looks way more than just "share" or "similar" with Enter the Gungeon. Hard to say if it's a good copy or just straight up stealing but if I were the Dodge Roll guys I wouldn't be happy either way lol.
