Flippin' heck, this game has taken a while to materialise, hasn't it? Swery's "debt repayment daily life RPG", The Good Life, was initially announced with a Kickstarter campaign back in 2018, and news has been extremely slow on the title ever since. As with the famed developer's other works, this new game looks to be somewhat unorthodox, with the player assuming the role of a photographer who can turn into a cat or dog for some reason. Oh, and there's a murder mystery as well.
A new English language trailer has just been released, which gives us a refreshed look at the unusual game. It's looking pretty promising, and definitely has a quirky sense of humour that we rather enjoy. The end of the video reveals it's still aiming for a Fall 2021 release — after a few delays, let's hope it can finally stick the landing.

Oddly enough, this seems to be pulling at me.

Hum... Princess Peach is looking different...
I was waiting for this. Glad to see it is this year it will comr
Its digital only i guess i totally forgot about it and missed the physical edition. 😢
It’s gonna run like ass but it could be good. Swery’s a pretty flawed guy and his writing can be a bit iffy at times but I appreciate the effort he puts into telling the stories he wants to.
Where's Richard Briers and Felicity Kendall? Surely an RPG set in Surbiton is overdue ha.
If only Deadly Premonition 2 was out on PS4 or 5.
Had my eye on this one for a while now, glad to know it'll (hopefully) come out soonish.
Backed this ages ago. Finally good to see a date. 👀
@nessisonett maybe. I don’t know to be honest though. Looks like it runs fine but it might be only PC version
