PlayStation 4 has introduced us to many new franchises and worlds, but it's also given us plenty of trips down memory lane. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is the latest in a long line of remakes, bringing back the cult hit PS2 platformer. It's just weeks away from release, and THQ Nordic is getting fans excited with short but sweet trailers like the one above.
This new trailer focuses on the various boss battles you'll engage in. King Jellyfish and the robot recreations of the main crew are looking great in this colourful remake, and are definitely faithful to the original.

I’m not gonna lie, I might be looking forward to this more than GoT or TLOU2.
Can't wait for this! Massive Spongebob fan & 3D platformers are my favourite genre. I can't remember a thing about the original too, so that's a bonus!
I miss that boss battle theme. It has that PS2/Gamecube era feel to it that I have a soft spot for.
This is definitely going to exceed sales projections
This is the one game I always wanted remastered but didn't think it ever had a chance. Might get this on the switch instead, but I'll be getting it on something 100 percent

Somehow the original game flew over my head though, maybe I thought it was dumb or just another cash grab.
