Here's a quick reminder for all of you Persona 5 Royal players: head on over to the PlayStation Store right now and you can grab the 'Legacy DLC Bundle' for the sweet, sweet price of absolutely nothing. The bundle contains all of the DLC that was originally released for Persona 5, now available to use in Persona 5 Royal.
You get a few costume sets, a load of exclusive personas, some in-game items, and more. Well worth a quick trip to the store if you've nabbed a copy of Persona 5 Royal. Oh, and there's a free tracksuit costume set as well, so you might as well snap that up while you're there.

That’s pretty cool, I never did buy any Persona 5 DLC so once I get Royal I’ll make sure to grab this.
Thank you!!!!! Ive been wondering how to access this
Tomorrow should arrive my copy of Persona 5R. My first Persona and also first JRPG. I am curious.
Neato. Just redeemed it on the website.
I won't be getting P5R any time soon, but when I do, it looks like I have a lot of extra content to look forward to via DLC.
Nice. I just grabbed it as I didn’t know until now. Get a boost from the items and some fun costumes for grinding out mementos. Shame the new character needs more DLC. The new DLC bundle is $60, which is outrageous as not the game not even getting a 10% expansion of the game. Atlus makes one great games, but man those DLC practices.
Completely forgot about this, thanks. Fyi there's also a new free 'Tracksuit' outfit set.
Surprising they wouldn't just...include this. In a full priced re-release.
@Broosh its a fair point, and there is over £50 of new dlc exclusively for royal too 🤦♂️
I grabbed that as well as the £7.99 Persona pack for Izanagi-no-Okami.
@Broosh By giving away some DLC for free rather than including it in the bass game it makes you visit the DLC page in the store and therefore you’re more likely to buy something. It clearly worked in @GADG3Tx87 case.
I gotta ask, anyone know if I can play this game on my main account with trophys and all if I buy it on my second account?
I have a U.S. account that is my main but due to Covid-19 the borders are closed (I live in Mexico) so I'm out of luck in buying a PSN card (plus got to stay inside and all that) but I do have a cred-it card here to buy it for my mexican account.
Just wish to play it on my main if that makes any sense xD
@nessisonett Or better yet, grab it now just in case they start charging for it later!
@Rob_230 wait, they're making DLC for an expanded re-release (which also got its own DLC)? Really?
God I hope Atlus could just stop its insane DLC practices. The games are very good, but I wonder how many people are willing to shell out that much on a single game.
I mean, it's bad enough that they're repackaging the same game instead of offering the Royal content as a, I dunno, 20/30€ expansion, but they're charging for DLC on top of that?
So if someone is an "early adopter" and bought P5 + DLC and P5R + DLC (both games at full price), how much did they even pay for the complete experience? 220 €/£/$? Yikes.
@clvr yeah, tell me about it. I bought the take your heart edition of the vanilla game too and that didn't come with any of the dlc.
Atlus make great games, but their dlc decisions are very unreasonable.
Id never costed up the 'complete experience' before..but yikes! Thats half the price of a PS5....
Glad I didn't get the royal ultimate edition now
@glassmusic I forgot you could grab free DLC without owning the game! Good shout, cheers.
@Rob_230 exactly, they make it way harder than it should be to love them, as their games really are that good! Now I shudder at the thought of what they'll do to SMT V... well, if they ever actually show it to us lol
Btw I got that number on the assumption that the first pass was 50 €/£/$ like this one, though I'm not sure. But if that is the case, yeah, it's pretty much four full-priced games.
@Rob_230 Really?! Wow that's crazy. So much content.
@Ryall Excellent point, Monster Hunter used the same tactic on my poor wallet...
I'm about 6-8 hours in and One-shot Kamoshida's Palace. I plan on facing him tomorrow.
Atlus wants to take DLC to another level I thought this was already in the disc then what's the point of this game or they are gonna milk the game forever without a definitive edition that has all, they really need to stop with their greed otherwise I predict a bad future for them
wait a second... are you telling me that Persona 5 Royal disc version dont have the dlc on disc???.. i thought everything was on disc for this rerelease of the game, and there was no more to buy.
in these days when the psn have been throttled. claiming a huge dlc bundle that should have been on the disc, is nothing to celebrate even when its free.
I couldn't stand Last Surprise, the main battle theme of Persona 5, so that SMT4 costume DLC that replaced the main battle theme from the one from that game was necessary for my enjoyment of the game. The new battle theme they made for this rerelease is a lot better, though I still dunno if it's the main battle theme always or if they have different one for first strikes and such.
@GKO900 There are new characters in the game, along with a whole new palace. Some people are complaining that it seems like it should had been released as DLC but they don’t seem to understand that a lot of scenes have been reworked, with new dialogue, character appearances, and just additional content. There’s no way Royal could be released as DLC primarily because of that. For real, even the first few beginning cutscenes are updated with new things. And sure, perhaps the “free DLC” you can download should have been added to Royal already being as it’s the definitive edition, but regardless, it’s still free, so I wouldn’t call it “greed.”
@TheBuzz I believe all the dlc is in the disk but you have to purchase it on the store to unlock it, but its free
