It seems even PlayStation can't resist the allure of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has arranged a corporate tournament for a bunch of the country's top businesses, and among the competitors will be a team from Sony's gaming platform.
As you can see in the above video, PlayStation joins seven other companies taking part in this interesting competition. Alongside the likes of Sun-Star, Sugiko, and Plaza, it's a bit odd to see SIE participating in one of Nintendo's biggest games. Of course, there's no harm in it, and if PlayStation's staff have among them some talented players, fair play.
It's nothing to really scream about, but it's a noteworthy scenario to see Sony engaging with Nintendo like this. Do you think Nintendo will be up for some PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale afterwards? Will PlayStation make it very far? Sound off in the comments below.

Kratos, aloy, and nate in smash? 😁
Another reminder that the console wars only exist in the comments section.
While those in the "big three" want strong sales and support for their platforms, they are game enthusiasts and not platform elitists.
God, I just want that PS Allstars made by Capcom to be true.
Of course this may come across as pure blasphemy to all the PlayStation-only purists around here, but any Sony property would be treated with nothing short of complete respect in Masahiro Sakurai's hands. We're talking about the same game director who completed Persona 5 before putting Joker in Smash.
I mean, the dude owns at the very least one PlayStation 4. The same whole respect ordeal happened with Cloud in Super Smash Bros. 4, which still were the Sony-only FF7 days. He could say "to see more Kratos, please play his games on PS4" in the middle of a Nintendo Direct - it happened with Banjo-Kazooie, after all.
I leave y'all with the 2013 April Fools' Day strip of Brawl In The Family, which will be embedded correctly as soon as the site is back up.
Drake joins the battle. Lol, sounds pretty fun.
Sounds like a fun time. Good on Sony for participating.
I'd like to see Battle Royale make a comeback. I thought it was good.
Make PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale happen please.
