It feels like DONTNOD's vampiric adventure game Vampyr flew way under the radar last year, but in a new press release, it seems like it did pretty well for itself. One million sales is certainly nothing to sniff at, and it's a huge success for publisher Focus Home Interactive. No wonder the two companies are partnering once again on another project.
There are no clues as to what the next game will be, but it's described as "one of the most ambitious in the history of the publisher and the studio." COO of Focus Home Interactive, John Bert, seems pleased about the continued collaboration: "We are delighted to continue the adventure with the team at DONTNOD who have already amply demonstrated their talents to create rich universes, enhanced by a masterful narrative and unique artistic direction."
DONTNOD CEO Oskar Guilbert shares the sentiment: "We are excited to be strengthening our successful relationship with Focus Home Interactive. Their proven and effective marketing, their ability to address new digital distribution channels, their experienced teams and the convergence of our editorial visions makes FOCUS an ideal partner for our new game."

Great game!
Maybe this is for a sequel? On next gen of course.
Would love Remember Me to get a sequel though I'm pretty sure Capcom hold the rights to that game. Nilin was a brilliant character I'd really like to see again someday.
@Shigurui Yes, Remember Me was actually quite good I thought.
I didn’t play Vampyr, but might get to it eventually. I am surprised it did this well in the sales department, because it didn’t seem to create much buzz.
I loved remember me. Awesome music too
Dontnod want to be careful to avoid a telltale situation. The milestone for vampyr is brilliant, but they have been extremely slow getting LiS2 out the door, with Twin Mirror also on the way later this year
I’d love to see something with better combat. Tried playing Vampyr a few times, really couldn’t get past the combat
I bought Vampyr for deep discount in a sale. As others mention, combat is pretty bland, but the world, characters, and actual roleplaying are pretty decent and kept me engaged despite it's obvious flaws. A Sequel could really be something special.
@Rob_230 Yeah, I'm tired of the episodic releases...
Loved this game!
It was really up my alley. Though I understand why many people wont like it as much as i did.
I really enjoyed this for a while but got to a point to where I finished it by watching a Lets Play. I’ve actually never done that before. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience.
I loved Vampyr. Great game, very underrated. It has a great story and characters, and the combat, while not perfect, was nothing to sniff at, though I admit it is quite a chore at the beginning of the game, but as you unlock more weapons and abilities it gets incredibly fun
