Last week, we got a pretty obvious teaser for some sort of new content heading to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's popular Blackout mode, and now we know what it's all about. Operation Absolute Zero is what Activision is calling the first major update to the battle royale experience, and as you can see from the trailer, it introduces a fair amount of new things to see.
First and foremost, Hijacked appears to be a new update to the map itself, bringing a ship into play as well as some other minor changes. There are also a number of new weapons, vehicles, and customisation options to enjoy. However, it isn't just Blackout that's seeing some changes; a new specialist, Zero, joins the fray in the regular multiplayer, with its own equipment and abilities.
This arrives today, with patch 1.09 ready to roll on PS4. Will you be checking out all the changes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4? Don't forget your hat and gloves in the comments below.

really enjoying COD this year. 1st time ive bought it since Black Ops 1. this new Blackout mode is really fun
@Tha_Likely_Lad @Quintumply do you think future iterations of Call of Duty will ditch the single player campaign completely due to the success of this one?
@Turismo4GT I honestly don't think it's been that successful mate, so I would imagine there will be a story mode next year. When I played daily back in the day I always used to say they shouldn't bother with single player and just focus on multiplayer but I guess not everyone feels that way
Hmm well thats cool i guess but i was really hoping (kind of expecting) a brand new blackout map and not just a boat added to the old map. Oh well, serves me right for getting my expectations up i suppose. I always love more customization options though.
Hijacked!...had some fun times on that yacht!
