Tetris Effect PS4 PlayStation 4 PSVR

We're very much looking forward to Tetris Effect. It's quietly one of the most exciting games on the horizon; not only does it look to bring a totally unique flair to the peerless puzzler, but rhythm game mastermind Tetsuya Mizuguchi is at the helm. The man behind such classics as Rez and Lumines is bringing his musical touch to Tetris, and it looks awesome.

The game is launching pretty soon, on 9th November, but if you're like us, you'll want to get your hands on it as soon as possible. Interestingly, Mark MacDonald of Enhance Games has casually brought up a demo heading to PlayStation Store before launch.

Speaking to Game Informer on its podcast, MacDonald said the free demo will launch on 1st November, but will only be available to play until the 5th. So, for the weekend before the game's launch, you'll be able to take it out for a T-spin. He also pointed out that the demo will be playable in PlayStation VR as well as on a regular setup, just like the final game.

Will you be checking out the demo for Tetris Effect? Are you excited to be stacking blocks to some catchy tunes and trippy visuals? Get in the zone in the comments below.
