If you've pre-ordered Marvel's Spider-Man digitally via the PlayStation Store, good news: you can now download the game on your PS4 ready for its release on 7th September. It's a fairly hefty size at just over 46GB, so it's a good idea to get the download running ahead of time.
Normally, the process of pre-loading will begin automatically, but if not, you can start it manually by heading over to your Library, selecting Marvel's Spider-Man in your list, and clicking the option to start the download. Simple.

Think I'd go for a box copy with this one. Won a $20 Target gift card recently too so I could get it a little cheaper that way.
Except it turns out I waited too long so Target's pre-orders are sold out. Oh well, got tons of other games to play.
Nice. Now I just need to clear some space for Spidey.
And since the Library has been mentioned, I realized today that we can't access our library in PS App. Seriously. To request a download while at work, I had to search in the store for the game I knew I had bought since even at PS Store there is no Library option. 2018, Sony.

For the U.S., you go to the PlayStation Store, hover the mouse over your PSN ID, then click on Download List. It shows your available downloads from the most recent purchase, including Plus.

I got ffxv, re5 and spiderman downloading at the same time (alongside the 15gb update for destiny 2). With a connection of 24mgbps, that's a lot of stuff to download till friday afternoon. Hope I'll make it.

@KidBoruto It's no problem, this game isn't too high on my list right now. I'm still busy with Hollow Knight, Curse of the Moon, The Messenger, and then this week, Hyper Light Drifter.

Also, you could always exchange/trade your $20 Target gift card for $20 cash with a friend or family member, that's what I do.
whenever i try and download the game it tells me cannot download , its probably the region i live in but i was wondering if it was happening to anyone else
