Here is Lara Croft doing Lara Croft things in a new Shadow of the Tomb Raider mini-trailer. We suspect that the clip, which is titled ‘Makeshift Arsenal’, is meant to highlight all of the creative combat options the heroine will have in battle – but it doesn’t paint her in the most mentally stable light, as she sets unsuspecting goons on fire and poisons them without a care in the world.
We did enjoy in Rise of the Tomb Raider how you could choose to use bottles and cans as distractions or craft them into impromptu explosives, so hopefully there’s much more of that in the brand new game. There’s still a month until release, so we’re sure that Square Enix will reveal all in the 10,984 trailers it has planned between now and then.

Oh thank God, another trailer. I still feel like I don't know this game at all.
another 1?
srsly they might aswell just make a walktrough if they are that desperate for marketing.
bethesda does not market at all but the tomb raider team seems to think that the only marketing you can do is releasing trailer after trailer.
I think we should have an official PushSquare Tomb Raider trailer counter on these articles!
Are they trying to break a record as the game with the most trailers?
Remember that game that was out years ago, where the idea was exploring huge tombs, solving puzzles, and collecting treasure? Can't remember the name... I think it was the concept of the game in general... something like... "Tomb Raider" wasn't it? Anyway, I used to love those games. I wish they'd continued that series.
Growing up with this series, I still think it's funny watching Lara be so ruthless and violent, LOL.
Anyway, as far as a "makeshift arsenal" goes, I woulda liked to see more environmental based stuff like being able to use physics to knock trees and rocks onto people, a swinging attack with a grappling hook, luring animals to the enemies, setting fires, etc.
The shootin' looks fun, tho!
@LaNooch1978 I was actually playing the "take a shot every time a TR trailer was shown" drinking game but the next thing I knew I woke up in an ambulance with my stomach pumped.
@Enuo Tomb Raider and SpiderMan trying to out-embarrass each other with trailers and footage... And both winning, somehow!
It’s trailer overload, but ...
I really like the look of the new weapons and combat devices. One of those looked almost like the Thermite rifle from The Order 1886, which was absolutely brilliant. And then another option showing shooting two arrows at a time like Aloy can do, but yet each going a different direction to score two separate headshots?! Amazing.
Lara, I can hardly wait.
The game looks great and I'll be getting it but the animations still look weird, like they aren't long enough and after everything she does she immediately snaps jarringly back into her previous position
@LaNooch1978 "average minds" I resent that remark! NO ONE MATCHES MY SUPERIOR INTELLECT!!!
I feel like they're headed to the wrong direction with agent Lara Croft. She used to be an adventurer, an explorer... They actually made a reboot to dive into her personality and now she's just one more empty action game avatar. Well, hopefully I'm wrong...
Do they really think all these reveals will help them survive better against Spider-Man?
If that's the reason they're thinking SotTR has nothing to fear from Spidy, then, by all means, they already overdid it.
I will buy this game sooner or later, but with all the reveals over the last weeks, I feel I already finished the game twice. But maybe it's just me playing Rise of the Tomb Raider over last weeks
@LaNooch1978 Fair point. Honestly didn't about that, PlayStation < all
Wait so the "supernatural" enemies are those Aztec guys? Way to spoil everything about the game lol
@SMKpaladin PS4 has the best exclusives ! I should really make a list sometime lol.
