Last year’s instalment of The Game Awards was by far the best show that Geoff Keighley’s put together, so it’s reassuring to learn that the event will return on Thursday, 6th December. “Our team is deep into planning the 2018 show, which will be our biggest production yet,” the Canadian said. “We’re taking all the elements that worked last year and adding even more to the experience.”
Contenders for the coveted Game of the Year award will no doubt include the likes of God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 this time around, but we suspect you can expect the usual sprinkling of new announcements and trailers during the event itself. It’s testament to how much these shows have improved in recent years that we genuinely look forward to them now.

Is the guy that made A Way Out going to be there? That was last years highlight for me.

Sweet. I've enjoyed watching this for the past couple years, so I'm looking forward to this one as well. Fingers crossed for more moments like the interview with the A Way Out guy.
The only good thing to come out of the game awards was when Chvrches performed a few years back. Made me a believer!
The actual show is so far up its own ass, its painful to watch.
@SlimDrizzyLamar Same here, only care for new game updates/reveals.
I think Keighley has been doing a pretty good job with these awards for the last few years. They can be a bit cringy, but fun nonetheless.
