PGW 2017: PlayStation Plus Members Get Monster Hunter: World Beta in December

Following on from the game's latest trailer, Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter: World will be getting a beta in December, and it'll be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Nice!

"Take on Three Epic Monsters and Quests in the Exclusive Beta this December and Equip Special Gear from Lethal Hunter Aloy," reads the press release. The beta will be available from the 9th December until the 12th December.

He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.

Not a fan, but I'll give the beta a go just to see how it looks.

Does remind me my PS+ expires around Christmas, need to start looking for deals.

i'm sure it will be available on the SEA PSN stores without the PS+ requirement. They even had the CoD WWII beta without needing to pre-order it lol.

Hallelujah. It's always great to get a beta that doesn't require a pre-order to play, especially when it's a game I'm really interested in like this one.

Depending on size I may give it a go. I have a feeling it will be the same as the others but prettier.

I'll try it and hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. The vids I've seen so far haven't really done anything for me.

Brilliant. The wait has been made a lot shorter all of a sudden. I wonder if they will be clever and have carry-overs to the main game. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff...GT Sport, I'm looking at you!
