It's a mouthful. There are way too many syllables in Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission, but fortunately this collaboration between Criterion (remember them?) and DICE is well worth downloading if you have a copy of the base game and a PlayStation VR headset lying around. It only lasts about 20 minutes, but it's comfortably one of the finest demonstrations of Sony's swish new tech to date.

Alright, so cockpit games are dime a dozen in virtual reality, and there are even a couple of sci-fi ones – but none of those let you sit in an authentically modelled, God's honest X-Wing. The gameplay loop is simple: it starts out a bit walking sim (albeit in a spaceship) and then escalates into a dog fight with Tie-Fighters. But the special effects and sense of immersion are so awesome that we'll forgive the lack of originality.

Full game, please. Stat.
