A surprise announcement from prolific publisher Koei Tecmo, Musou Stars looks to be a crazy crossover title that follows the Warriors formula. Boasting personalities from properties such as Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Toukiden, it certainly seems like an interesting premise, and we're looking forward to seeing more.
It's due to release on PlayStation 4 and Vita in Japan next year, and you can catch the game's announcement trailer above. Does this sound like a good idea to you? Get ready for a new breed of slaughter in the comments section below.

Mah gurl Oka's in this, count me in.
So its like Warriors Orochi?
@Expa0 It's so much like Warriors Orochi that you'll find yourself asking "why isn't this just Warriors Orochi?"
@ShogunRok We didn't see nothing about the gameplay, maybe it's kind of a Warriors game or a brawler type who knows?
@illegalfreq We did - those little segments where the characters are beating up loads of enemies is the game. Ryu was taking on a bunch of Dynasty Warriors-style soldiers and Oka was taking on waves of those goblin Oni things from Toukiden. Definitely a Warriors-style thing.
Couldn't blame you if you glazed over them though - it looks very familiar!
More musou, more crossovering, no complains from me!
I really enjoyed the Zelda and Dragon Quest spin-off so I'm interested.
Need this on NX so they can make little amiibo figures of each of the main characters, I bet they'd sell.
And I know, NX won't have the "Pro power", but NX better at least be as powerful as Vita, or they really shouldn't even bother making any new hardware, just let Apple sell it as "iGame".
If this gets couch multplayer we'll finally have a reason to buy a 2nd DS4. So far all the PS4 games I want are for single player only, whether they have multiplayer or not. Which is good b/c it means I don't have to be in any rush to play them.
Incoming Guts DLC..
@rjejr
Since when are you into musou games?
@JaxonH Since Gundam probably. Its violent enough to play w/ my kids w/o being too bloody, b/c ell, robotos don't bleed. . We dont' follow the games that closely but we have a few here and there. We played 1 on Wii a lot, Sengoku Basara or something like that. And Drakengard way back on PS2 I think was sort of 1, but w/ a dragon. And of course Hyrule Warrirors, looking forward to the DQH games.
Mind you, I'd rather play Paper Mario or a good JRPG, but I like a bit of massive random violence occasionally.
Bruh, is that Opoona at the end?
