And in the blink of an eye, that’s the last of the big new releases until The Crew next month. Don’t think that the PlayStation Store’s going to become a barren wasteland in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, though, as Sony is keeping it well supplied with a couple of smaller releases – like the PlayStation 4 version of Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.
This is the first time that an entry in Bizarre Creations’ bright and beautiful blast-‘em-up has come to a Sony system, so we’re certainly looking forward to seeing what all of the fuss is about. With the abovementioned developer sadly shuttered, Lucid Games has taken the reins for this PS4 and PS3 release, which, if we’re honest, appears to have put a Super Stardust HD spin on things.
Other new titles due out on the PS4 next week include Tetris Ultimate, Speakeasy, and Thomas Was Alone. Feisty feline foray Aqua Kitty Milk Mine Defender DX will also be plunging to new depths on the Japanese giant’s next-gen console, alongside the Vita. Speaking of the miniscule machine, Pocket RPG will be levelling up on the platform from next week, as will Jetpack Joyride Deluxe.
And that’s all of the major stuff for now. There’ll be a demo for Guilty Gear Xrd Sign available on the PS4, but you’ll need a PlayStation Plus subscription to download it. Elsewhere, Evolution Studios’ promised DriveClub expansion packs will go live in time for the holidays. Remember, this information is accurate only for the North American PlayStation Store, so European dates may vary.

Thomas was Alone is a beautiful game. Already have it on PS3 and on my iPhone (mobile controls aren't good at all). Anyone who hasn't played it yet and likes a game with a good involving story should give it a try. The rest of the list isn't very interesting to me, tho I might have to try the Lego Batman demo on PS3 just to sate my love of the Dark Knight.
I'd love to get my hands on Guilty Gear. I remember playing one game at a kiosk in a game store years ago, and unfortunately it's been my only experience with the franchise. I'd like to try Xrd, and I've been meaning to get Accent Core Plus on PSN for a while now.
Also, I didn't think that The Crew was releasing so soon. Judging from Ben's "impressions" of the beta, I think that game needs more time.
I hope Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed will be in the European store too. Saw it on my psvita and it seemed interesting, I would prefer the ps4 version over the psvita version.
Played the PS3 Lego Batman 3 demo this past week, took about 30 minutes, it was fun. I think it was in the UK store.
Do you guys know if Thomas was Alone is a cross-buy? I remember getting it for free on the PS3 several months ago, but I never beat it, so it'd be nice to get that back.
