Blood lust

In arguably the biggest shock of Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference, Tecmo Koei didn't announce a new iteration of Dynasty Warriors. Instead the publisher revealed Toukiden – a dark, fantasy action title headed to Vita and PSP next year.

Developed by Omega Force, the game will support cross-platform functionality between the two handheld devices. A short trailer showed a female protagonist cutting up giant spiders in a feudal Japan setting. Yeah – we're sold, too.
