The engine behind the gorgeous 3D Dot Game Heroes is now compatible with PS Vita.

The Legend Of Zelda parody not only played great, but it also looked the part. So it's exciting to learn that the Japanese developer has expanded its Orochi engine to include support for the PS Vita.

For those unclear, Orochi is a native Japanese language game engine originally designed as a means to port Windows-based PC games to the PlayStation 3. Similarly to Epic's work on Gears Of War, 3D Dot Game Heroes was produced as a means to showcase the technology.

PlayStation Vita port, please?
