Fire is hot. And EA has confirmed Battlefield 4. After the staggering early sales reports for Battlefield 3, it was never in doubt that there would be another entry in the DICE developed first-person shooter.

And that's exactly what EA's Frank Gibeau has announced upon the unexpected back-drop of a college campus. "There is going to be a Battlefield 4," the suit splurted, prompting the news to appear all over Twitter.

EA later said that Gibeau was speaking generally about the Battlefield brand rather than a specific title, but let's use some common sense here. There is going to be a Battlefield 4.
