Electronic Arts and Adidas have teamed up to produce a limited run of 100 Need For Speed: The Run style trainers. The trainers — which admittedly don't look very Need For Speedy — are great if you're into your retro footwear.

"Our goal with Need for Speed is to be more than just a video game franchise, as we view ourselves as a leader in youth and automotive culture as well," said EA's Kevin Maher. Sure.

The first 50 pairs of shoes will be available at the Adidas Originals Chicago store on October 10th, with the other 50 available at the San Francisco store on October 22nd.
