Duke Nukem Forever Is Coming To The PlayStation 3, Just In Case You Were Wondering

We don't know why, but it's fact. We were sitting in front of our site traffic counter just as the news of Duke Nukem Forever's re-existence broke, and were amazed by the impact. Suddenly it was like an avalanche of Duke Nukem search queries.

Hit counter, high.

We had been a little concerned though, that the game might not make it out on PlayStation 3. Duke Nukem doesn't really have a history of PlayStation games [apparently he does! - Ed], does he? Thankfully readers, you can rest easy. Alongside a tentative 2011 release date, Gearbox has confirmed that the game is coming to Sony's system. Hooray, right?

It's a video game. It's going to be released (we think?). And it's coming to PlayStation 3 next year. We need a lot of convincing that there's still a place for Duke Nukem video games in the year 2010, though. A lot.
